First of all my technical interests:

• Oracle (the database…)
• Security (database and database environments like hosts, network, …)
• Tuning (mainly in Oracle environments, but not only, because by performance problems are not necessarily the fault of the database)
• Linux (SuSE fan...)

I work for a company called Trivadis. My main tasks are:

• As a principal consultant I am on the customer side and I try to resolve their problems
  (Oracle, security, tuning, ...)
• As a teacher I give the following courses:
  • Oracle architecture and internals for advanced DBAs
  • Oracle database and instance tuning
  • Oracle security
  • Oracle Grid Control Advanced
  • Everything with new features Oracle 10g and 11g
• As curriculum manager I am responsible for every course in the Oracle area
