First of all my technical interests:
- Oracle (the database…)
- Security (database and database environments like hosts, network, …)
- Tuning (mainly in Oracle environments, but not only, because by performance problems are not necessarily the fault of the database)
- Linux (SuSE fan…)
I work for a company called Trivadis. My main tasks are:
- As a principal consultant I am on the customer side and I try to resolve their problems
(Oracle, security, tuning, …) - As a teacher I give the following courses:
- Oracle architecture and internals for advanced DBAs
- Oracle database and instance tuning
- Oracle security
- Oracle Grid Control Advanced
- Everything with new features Oracle 10g and 11g
- As curriculum manager I am responsible for every course in the Oracle area
